DLCAS.com was established in 1997 with the goal of offering high-quality, research-based drug/alcohol education to those individuals working in a helping profession. Courses have been designed to assist individuals who are seeking a credentialing to work with drug/alcohol clients or to maintain a credential they already hold. What separates our distance learning from previously used self-guided study (or home study) is the use of Internet technology that allows the participant immediate access to coursework when choosing Internet formats. Courses are actually available in three formats:

Internet format - PDF formatted materials that are delivered by email and can be downloaded to your computer system for immediate use upon ordering (at no additional charge),
Flash Drive format sent by USPS delivery (available at an additional cost for materials/shipping/handling),
Hard Copy format sent by USPS delivery (available at an additional cost for materials/shipping/handling).

Coursework is available from a variety of Series and in a variety of lengths – 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, even a 30-hour course on Clinical Supervision. This allows you, the student, to find the hours needed on topics of interest. You can browse the entire list below, or you can select a “Series” to focus your studies on specific areas.
